A group of us met today at 2:30 pm to move the logs back to their original positions and restore the log piles, which will naturally rot providing a habitat for beetles, etc.
Well done to all involved and a special thanks to the group of young people who also helped us.
Interesting to see some dragonfly casings
And one small one was spotted flying over one of the lakes 🙂
The place looked great afterwards.

Took myself out in the wind for a walk to the allotments earlier today and took a few panoramas going through the wetlands 🙂

Had a lovely walk through the wetlands. While the dumped garden waste is unsightly, unecessary and promotes weed growth it has also perhaps helps some wild flowers.

Had a nice walk through the town park and wetlands in the sunshine and a lady with two children who allowed me to take a photo and asked if we are in Instagram. Which is a great idea which I really must establish and promote. Here are a few snaps 🙂

Lovely to walk through the Town Park and the Wetlands in the crisp frost morning 🙂
