This is a simple flow and return monitor to allow analysis of the performance of the central heating.
Hot water leaves the boiler in the “flow” pipe of the oil burner at around 65 C and is pumped to heat up all the water in the radiators before returning in the “return” pipe some tens of degrees cooler.
This water is then heated up in the boiler and the process repeats. Until the target room temperature is reached or someone manually turns of the central heating.
These graphs allow this performance to be analysed.
There is also a small battery sensor in the kitchen.
